The OeTTINGER Brewery GmbH

The roots of OeTTINGER Brauerei GmbH, based in Oettingen, go far back to the year 1731. Since then, the still family-run company has developed from a pure brewer to a flexible and multifaceted beverage manufacturer. In terms of output, OeTTINGER is today one of the largest beer brands in Germany and among the top 25 most influential breweries worldwide. Around eight million hectoliters of beer, mixed beer beverages and soft drinks are filled into about two billion bottles and cans every year. Over 800 employees work at the four brewery locations in Oettingen South, Oettingen North, Mönchengladbach and Brunswick as well as in the logistics center in Walldorf. Best quality, a diverse range, the absence of advertising, gastronomy and cost drivers, a low price and international availability are firmly anchored in the brewery’s corporate philosophy.

The OeTTINGER brewery obtains all raw materials from the regions around its four brewery locations and supplies its customers from there with its own truck fleet across Germany. The OeTTINGER brewery has received more than 300 national and international awards since 1980 alone for its consistently high performance and long-term product quality. Their entire beer range has displayed the “GMO-free” label since 2013.
Under its main brand OeTTINGER, the family company currently brews 16 different beers and beer mixes, as well as 16 soft drinks. The OeTTINGER brewery sells its nationally best-selling types of pils, lager and wheat beer in over 100 countries.
